1. Banned items

These items can never be sold on Sellor, even with a licence.

Drugs and narcoticsYaba, heroin, cannabis, phensedyl, cocaine and any other illegal drug, and tools made for using them.

Weapons and ammunitionGuns, air guns, parts and accessories for guns, ammunition, grenades and combat knives.

Explosives and fireworksExplosives, gunpowder, fireworks and firecrackers.

Counterfeit goodsFakes, replicas and "first copy" or "master copy" items that copy another brand, and pirated films, music, games or software.

Stolen goodsAnything you do not own or have no right to sell.

Protected wildlifeLive protected animals, and ivory, skins, horns, shells or other parts of protected species.

Fake documentsFake ID cards, passports, certificates, licences and bank documents.

Adult contentPornography and sexual services.

GamblingBetting accounts, lottery sales and casino services.

Hacking tools and spywareSoftware or devices made to break into accounts, track people secretly or tap phones.

Human organsOrgans, blood and other human body parts.

2. Restricted items

These items can be sold only if you hold the licence or registration the law requires, and only in the way it allows. Sellor may ask you to show it at any time and removes the product if you cannot.

MedicineNeeds a drug licence; in Bangladesh, selling medicine online needs a licence from the Directorate General of Drug Administration. Prescription medicine must be sold only against a prescription.

FoodNeeds the food business registration the law requires, such as Bangladesh Food Safety Authority registration, and must follow food labelling rules.

Products that need a quality markProducts that the law says must carry a standards mark, such as the BSTI mark in Bangladesh, can be sold only with it.

AlcoholNeeds a licence to sell alcohol.

Tobacco and vapesNeeds a tobacco trade licence and is never sold to anyone under 18. Where the law bans advertising tobacco, it cannot be listed.

Hazardous chemicalsAcids, pesticides and similar chemicals need the licence that the law requires.

3. How we check

Sellor checks every uploaded photo automatically for adult, sexually suggestive or violent content: a clearly unsuitable photo is refused at once, and a doubtful one is shown while a person on the Sellor team reviews it. Sellor also reviews every report it receives about a product or shop, by email or through Contact support.

4. If you break the rules

Sellor may remove a product that breaks these rules and tells you why. If a shop breaks them seriously or again and again, Sellor may pause its new orders or hide it from customers. You can ask us to look again through Settings › Support › Contact support. Orders already placed can still be delivered. We may report illegal selling to the authorities.

5. Questions

6. Local laws

Some countries ban or restrict more items than this list. You must follow the law of the country you sell from and every country you ship to. When we launch in a new country, we add its rules here.
