Prohibited items

DRAFT · pending legal review. What you can and cannot sell on Sellor. Only legal products are allowed.

1. Banned items

These items can never be sold on Sellor, even with a licence.

Drugs and narcoticsYaba, heroin, cannabis, phensedyl, cocaine and any other illegal drug, and tools made for using them.
Weapons and ammunitionGuns, air guns, parts and accessories for guns, ammunition, grenades and combat knives.
Explosives and fireworksExplosives, gunpowder, fireworks and firecrackers.
Counterfeit goodsFakes, replicas and "first copy" or "master copy" items that copy another brand, and pirated films, music, games or software.
Stolen goodsAnything you do not own or have no right to sell.
Protected wildlifeLive protected animals, and ivory, skins, horns, shells or other parts of protected species.
Fake documentsFake ID cards, passports, certificates, licences and bank documents.
Adult contentPornography and sexual services.
GamblingBetting accounts, lottery sales and casino services.
Hacking tools and spywareSoftware or devices made to break into accounts, track people secretly or tap phones.
Human organsOrgans, blood and other human body parts.

2. Restricted items

These items can be sold only with a valid licence. Upload it on the product page; Sellor checks it before the product is shown to customers.

MedicineNeeds a drug licence. Prescription medicine must be sold only against a prescription.
AlcoholNeeds a licence to sell alcohol.
Tobacco and vapesNeeds a tobacco trade licence. Never sold to anyone under 18.
Hazardous chemicalsAcids, pesticides and similar chemicals need the licence that the law requires.

3. How we check

When you save a product, Sellor checks its name, description and category. If it looks like a banned or restricted item, the product is saved but marked "Under review" and customers cannot see it until a person on the Sellor team checks it, usually within 24 hours.

Customers can also report a product from its page. Every report is reviewed.

4. If you break the rules

First timeThe product is removed and you get a warning.
Second timeYour shop is paused. Customers can still see it, but no new orders can be placed.
Third timeYour shop is hidden from customers.

Orders already placed can still be delivered. We may report illegal selling to the authorities.

5. Questions

6. Local laws

Some countries ban or restrict more items than this list. You must follow the law of the country you sell from and every country you ship to. When we launch in a new country, we add its rules here.
